Raipur : Yamini Patel of a private girls school in Raigarh topped the Class 10 Chhattisgarh Board exam results announced here Friday.
She topped with 94.50 percent marks. A total of 296,227 students appeared in the exam the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) conducted.
The total percentage of successful candidates is 51.63.
A total of 18 boys made to the list of top 30 successful candidates but Raipur district was blanked out for the first time.
Janjgir district topped the list with most successful candidates (68.22 percent). Dantewada was at the bottom among all 18 districts (28.27 percent).
This year students of rural and semi-urban urban areas fared better than those in urban belts.
