Addressing a gathering on 30th May, national president of the organization Qari Mohammad Ishaq Gora said India’s largest minority community has become the target of communal forces and sometimes it appears as if the current government is working under pressure of western powers.

He expressed concern over the growing trend of putting Muslim youths behind bars on fake accusations. He said terrorism is actually an innovation of tyrant and anti-religion minds. It has no link with religion, especially the religion of Islam which is the religion of peace and security, he said.

Expressing his concern over continuing fissures in Muslim leadership, he appealed to Muslim leaders to stand united and mobilize masses against terrorism. He has presented a memorandum in this regard to vice-president of India Hamid Ansari.
