Ranchi : Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren has threatened to restrict the supply of minerals to Maharashtra if violence against north Indians continues in the state.
“We may consider restricting mineral supply to Maharashtra if violence against north Indians continues. At present, we have adopted a wait and watch policy,” Soren told reporters here.
Condemning the attacks on north Indians, Soren said India should firmly deal with such issues.
Jharkhand Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Sahi, who was first to raise voice against attacks, said: “Being an Indian every citizen has the right to live anywhere in the country. One state contributes to prosperity of other states.”
