New Delhi : Parsvnath Hotels, a subsidiary of real estate and infrastructure major Parsvnath Developers, Tuesday said its hotel project in Patto Plaza, Panaji, got five-star status from the tourism ministry.
The hotel, expected to be operational by 2010-end, will occupy a total land area of over 3,150 square feet. It will have 125 rooms and suites and also a commercial section, including coffee shops, specialty restaurants and a bar.
“Goa, which is renowned for its beaches, places of worship and world heritage architecture, is now also emerging as a convention centre,” Parsvnath Hotels vice-president Deepak Mowar said.
The state will attract thousands of international and domestic visitors every year, a development that throws open opportunities for hotel industry, he added.
