New Delhi : The Bata showroom in south Delhi’s South Extension market was completely gutted in a fire Thursday. There were no casualties.
According to fire officials, the blaze in the two-storeyed Bata showroom in South Extension II started late Wednesday.
“The fire started from the warehouse and engulfed the two-storey building. About 20 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames,” an official said, adding that they were trying to ascertain the cause of the fire.
