“In the parliament, nearly 200 children from across the state will discuss various issues related to child welfare,” said Augustine Veliath, communication head at Unicef, Lucknow.

Ministers and politicians will attend the parliament to listen to these children as they take up various issues concerning them, officials said.

According to social activists, the parliament will enable Uttar Pradesh to have a concrete policy on child protection.
