New Delhi: The terror attacks in Mumbai, the commercial capital of India in which more than 100 innocent people have lost their lives and more than 300 have injured has shocked the country. Tamilnadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam vehemently condemns the worst ever terror attack in recent times. TMMK also expresses its heartfelt sympathies to the family members of the valiant Police Officer Hemant Karkare and his colleagues who lost their lives fighting terrorism until their last breath. TMMK also expresses its sympathies to the family members of all the innocent souls who lost their lives in this cowardly act of terror. We pray that the injured will recover soon.
The worst of terror attack in Mumbai has come close in heels of the exposure of saffron terror. The killing of Hemant Karkare, the brave chief of the Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad and his colleagues who have pinned down the right accused in the Malegoan Blasts has also shaken the justice loving people of the country.
At this critical juncture the nation should unitedly take steps to repulse the terrorists and the conspirators. TMMK calls upon the countrymen not to succumb to the terrorist designs but to stand united to repulse the terrorists and their conspirators.
In a few minutes after terror struck Mumbai news is abound that ‘Deccan Mujahideen’ has accepted responsibility for the attack. It is such a callous attitude which has allowed the real perpetrators of crime to escape from the clutches of law in the past. We appeal to the Government to thoroughly investigate this dastardly crime and book the real conspirators and perpetrators of this crime against our nation.
