Mohali (Punjab) : Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel employee Jasmine Kaur, who was killed as terrorists attacked the luxury hotel Wednesday night, was cremated here Friday.
Her father, Maninder Singh, a Deputy Inspector General in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, brought back the body of his daughter from Mumbai Friday afternoon.
“Jasmine, 22, had shifted to Mumbai two months ago, where she worked as a front desk executive at the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower Hotel. She was a determined girl and wanted to excel in the hotel industry,” said a grief-stricken relative of Jasmine.
Jasmine was one among the four people from Mohali who died in the terror attacks on Mumbai. The other three were the daughter-in-law and grandchildren of a retired army official who lives here.
“The dead bodies of other three victims have not been recovered yet,” said an official spokesperson here.
