Bangalore : Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly Tuesday revealed that he has received threats to kidnap his daughter Sana.
When asked about media reports about the threats, Ganguly said: “It is true, but it would be better if we don’t discuss it here.”
The former India skipper refused to divulge any more details on the issue.
Ganguly, who announced his retirement from international cricket Tuesday, resides in Kolkata with his wife Dona and six-year-old daughter Sana.
The state government of West Bengal has provided high-level security to Ganguly since 2002 following threats by unidentified militants.
