Kabul : At least seven civilians were killed and two wounded when Taliban militants ambushed a NATO convoy Wednesday night in southern Afghan province of Uruzgan, an official said Thursday.
Assadullah Hamadam, the provincial governor, told Xinhua that a group of Taliban rebels attacked and fired rockets on the NATO convoy patrolling in Shahid Ihasaa district.
“Some rockets hit one civilian house in the area killing seven people around including women and children ,” he said.
