Buses of the Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) ferried 126 trans-LoC passengers between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, an official said.

These passengers crossed the LoC on foot at the Aman Setu bridge, the last Indian point in Uri sector in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, and then boarded buses waiting on other side of the de facto border.

“Today, 39 passengers belonging to the valley went across to meet their relatives in Muzaffarabad while 38 passengers who had come here from Muzaffarabad went back to their homes,” a police officer told IANS.

“In addition, 45 passengers belonging to Muzaffarabad came here today to meet their kith and kin in the valley while four locals who had gone across returned home,” the police officer said.
