New Delhi : The death toll has risen to 27 in Wednesday night’s explosion at an illegal firecracker factory in Deeg area of Bharatpur district in Rajasthan.
Nine more bodies were recovered from the debris Thursday. The deceased included 12 children and six women, All India Radio (AIR) reported quoting official sources.
Ten people allegedly involved in illegal manufacturing of firecrackers have been arrested in this connection. Injured have been admitted in hospitals in Deeg and Bharatpur.
Five houses collapsed following explosions at factory burning several people.
