Bhubaneswar, Oct 27 (IANS) At least three people were killed in a firecracker explosion in Orissa, the police said Monday.
The victims were carrying firecrackers on a motorcycle late Sunday, when the explosion occurred. The three died on the spot.
Akhya Muduli, 34, Sudarsan Pradhan, 24, and Jayanta Pradhan, 32, were residents of Patapur village in Puri district.
The district headquarters of Puri is 56 km from here.
