Hyderabad: In a shameful case of highhandedness of security officers, the Andhra Pradesh Task Force picked up a Muslim youth on his way to his shop, took him to the Task Force office in Secunderabad, and there he was not only beaten but also humiliated.

According to Amjed Ullah Khan of Majlis Bachao Tahreek, Mohammed Irfanuddin, son of Mohd Gyasuddin, was going to his cloth shop Global Garments at Tirmalgiri. He was picked up by some Task Force officials at R.P. Road near Begumpet and taken to Task Force office in Secunderabad. There, for no reasons, he was beaten with sticks and chappals and was forced to drink water even when he told the officials that he was fasting.

Amjed Ullah Khan took the youth to Mir Chowk Police Station and gave a written complaint to the police against the task force officials. Amjed Ullah Khan also spoke to the DCP (South) Atul Singh and DCP Task Force Kamala Hassan Reddy on the issue.
