Sana’a : Yemen and the United States (U.S.) discussed ways to develop bilateral military relations between the two armies of the countries, particularly in fighting terrorism and sea piracy, Defense Minister Mohammed Nasser Ahmad said.
Mohammed Nasser, who met on Sunday with Commander of U.S. Task Force in the Horm of Africa Admiral Philip Greene, also talked on preserving the security of the international maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Yemen news agency (SABA) reported.
Since July 20, 191 hostages including Malaysians held by Somalian pirates. The pirates had hijacked at least nine ships in recent weeks.
