New Delhi: Shahi Imam of Delhi’s Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmed Bukhari today visited Abdul Rasheed Agwan and Adnan Fahad who were picked up from their homes in Jamia Nagar area on Sunday by the Anti-Terrorism Squad.
The aim of his visit was to eliminate any sense of isolation or guilt that these two might be feeling after release. First he met Abdul Rasheed Agwan and then Adnan Fahad. While returning from Adnan’s home, Mumtaz Alam Falahi of TwoCircles.net caught up with him and sought his views on terrorist attacks in the country, government’s failure to nab real culprits and biased investigation against Muslim.
He lambasted the intelligence agencies and investigating agencies for going slow on blasts in Nanded, Nagpur and Kanpur where Hindu extremists were involved. In the August 24 Kanpur bombing in which two Bajrang Dal activists were killed while making bombs.
