Lucknow : Children’s books, cook books, classics and a lot more will be on offer at a national book fair that begins here Sep 18, an organiser of the fair said.
The fair is being organised by the Federation of Publishers and Booksellers Association in India (FPBAI).
“The book fair will be a 10-day event that will start September 18 at the Balrampur Gardens,” said Devraj Arora, the fair organiser.
The main event of the fair would be an interactive programme “Meet a Writer”, in which the visitors will get a chance to discuss on literary works with their favourite writers, he added.
Nearly 150 book stalls have already been booked for the fair.
“Books in various categories like English and Hindi fiction, children’s books, classics, encyclopaedias, cook books and other different subjects books would be available in the fair,” said Arora.
The organisers expect the fair to do a business of over Rs.10 million.
