Shimla : The Himachal Pradesh government Friday cleared 18 industrial projects worth Rs.31 billion to set up units in the state.
The government gave the go ahead for the projects at a meeting of the state-level single window clearance and monitoring authority held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal.
Dhumal said that Solaryan Technologies, which would be producing thin film silicon solar panel, had been given approval to invest Rs.24 billion, while Indorama Industries would invest Rs.4 billion.
Other industrial houses that would be set up include Pidilite Industries, Meditech Garments, Advantage Organic Naturals Technologies and Crew BOS Products.
