Shimla, April 9 (IANS) At least 30 students of a college in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur town were injured when the bus in which they were travelling rolled down a 20-foot deep gorge near the Himachal Pradesh capital Thursday, the police said.
“At least 30 girls of a Jodhpur college were injured when their bus fell into a gorge near Woodrina Hotel at Dhali near here this (Thursday) evening,” Shimla superintendent of police R.M. Sharma told IANS.
He said the students were returning to Shimla after visiting Narkanda, a tourist resort 65 km from here.
“The injured have been admitted to Shimla’s Indira Gandhi Medical College. Most of the students received minor injuries,” he said.
