New Delhi: India’s prestigious central university Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi) and Al-Mustafa International University (Iran) have signed an MoU to promote and broaden their mutual cooperation in the field of education and culture.
According to the MoU, both the institutions will take necessary steps to rejuvenate the Indo-Iran relations in order to broaden the researches and mutual exchanges of scholars. The point for mutual consent will be based on the following issues:
1. Researches in the field of Humanities, Culture, History, Persian Language & Literature, Management, Mass Communication, Islamic Studies, etc.
2. Provision for scholarship at Master and Doctorate level for the eminent scholars of India and Iran.
3. Establishment of chairs of eminent scholars in Al-Mustafa International University (Iran) and Jamia Millia Islamia (New Delhi).
4. Exchange of scholars.
5. International seminars, conferences and symposium.
Both the institutions will cooperate and collaborate in materialization of the MoU and other relevant activities deemed mutually appropriate, says a communication from Jamia.
