Bhopal : A delegation of Muslim intellectuals of Madhya Pradesh(M.P), India met Archbishop Dr. Lio Karnalio and drew his attention towards the incident happened some days back about beard at a missionary school in Madhya Pradesh and discussed on the matter.
Notably, a 16 year-old student Mohammad Saleem was thrown out of his school only because he refused to shave off his beard.
The delegation headed by Anwar Safi of Jamat Islami Hind M.P handed over a memorandum to Dr. Lio Karnalio in which it was expressed that it was a sorrowful matter that a small issue which could be solved easily by leaders of both two communities, was taken to the court which turned into a controversial issue of the country.
In the memorandum it was also said that this incident left a bad affect on the relation of two communities. Therefore, archbishop should initiate to solve the matter by his own way.
Prominent archbishop assured to the delegation that soon he will inquire all the matter by his own way and will try to know that how such small matter did became a matter of big problem.
He also said that if there is any rule from the rules of school which may create tension between two communities, he will try to play an importance role to reset the school rules keeping in mind not only state but also whole country.
He alleged media saying that it took up this issue in such a way that made distance between two communities.
