Rural educational institutions of Azamgarh

Allama Shibli Nomani established “National School” in 1883, two years prior to the formation of Indian National Congress. Prior to the establishment of National School, Allama conducted a survey of the whole region vis-à-vis educational status and formed a “Muslim Educational Society”. Since then no educational survey has been done in spite of modern tools of data processing.

After Shibli’s educational movement, there was a huge gap in this direction and it is only after 1970 that educational institutions in a village Beenapara were established. The dawn of twently first century witnessed the establishment of institutions like Ziauddin Khan Memorial School (CBSE board), Badharia, Azamgarh and Fatima Girls College, Daudpur, Azamgarh.

I visited two small and upcoming institutions “Shibli Children School”, Nizamabad, Azamgarh and “Muslimpatti Niswan junior High School”, Muslimpatti, Azamgarh. Watch the video reports below:
