Beijing : Iran would become a nuclear fuel-producing country by the end of its fourth five-year development plan (2005-2010), Iranian news agency IRNA reported Thursday quoting a senior official.
Mohammad Saeedi, the deputy head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, said here Wednesday at the end of International Conference on Nuclear Energy in 21st Century that the country has a clear programme on nuclear energy.
“Under a ten-year programme, we will try to build a low-capacity power station using domestic expertise and then begin to undertake projects with higher capacities,” he added.
