New Delhi: A city court Thursday awarded life imprisonment to three men convicted for a murder committed four years ago.
Additional Sessions Judge R.K. Jain held Dharmender and two others, Tinku and Nitin Yadav, guilty of murdering Ramesh Kumar after relying on the testimony of his brother Kishan, who was an eye-witness in the case.
Kishan deposed that the three accused along with a minor delinquent attacked his younger brother Aug 11, 2005, and battered him with sticks and rods.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs.3,000 on each convict.
The minor is being tried separately before the juvenile justice board.
