New Delhi: The following bills were passed during the first budget session of the 15th Lok Sabha that ended Friday:

– The Metro Railways (Amendment) Bill, 2009 (Provides for extending the Metro Rail to Gurgaon and Noida)

– The Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Bill, 2009 (Provides the right to free education in a neghbourhood school to all children in the 6-14 age group)

– The Constitution (One Hundred and Ninth Amendment) Bill, 2009 (Extends reservation of seats for the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies by 10 years till 2020)

– The Finance (No. 2) Bill, 2009 (Amends various Acts as proposed in the Union Budget)

– The Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2009 (Authorises expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of India)

– The Appropriation (No.3) Bill, 2009 (Authorises expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of India)

-The Appropriation (Railways) No. 3 Bill, 2009 (Authorises expenditure of the Railways)

– The Jharkhand Appropriation (No. 2) Bill, 2009 (Authorises expenditure from the Consolidated Fund of Jharkhand, which has been under president’s rule)
