Bremen have not hosted a Cup match since beating MSV Duisburg in the second round in October 2007. They had to play all matches on the road en route to the Berlin final last season in which they defeated Bayer Leverkusen 1-0.

Bayern Munich also enjoyed a lucky draw Saturday night for the second round set for September 22 and 23, against second division Rot-Weiss Oberhausen.

There are three Bundesliga duels among the 16 games. League champions VfL Wolfsburg visit Cologne, Nuremberg meet TSG Hoffenheim and VfL Bochum host Schalke in a western German derby.

SV Hamburg are at third division Osnabrueck and VfB Stuttgart travel north to fourth-division VfB Luebeck, who upset top flight club Mainz 05 in the first round. Leverkusen face a difficult trip to second division club Kaiserslautern.
