New Delhi: The Delhi High Court Monday awarded a compensation of Rs.2.3 million to the family of a man killed in a road accident in 1998.

Justice J.R. Midha enhanced a lower court’s compensation of Rs.1 million to Rs. 2.3 million and said: “The future prospects of the deceased should be taken into consideration while assessing compensation for the family.”
