Thiruvananthapuram : Berggruen Hotels, owned by the US-based Berggruen Holdings Inc, will launch its first mid-market hotel “Keys” in Kerala Friday.
Situated in the heart of the state capital, the new hotel, which has 101 rooms, would be opened by Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor and state Tourism Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the company said Thursday.
Keys Hotels will have fully equipped business centres and meeting rooms with in-room Internet access and a direct dialling facility to take care of all business needs, the company said in a statement.
The introductory room rent in the budget segment will be around Rs.2,500 a night, while the charge in their upscale resort at Valsao Beach in Goa will be $100-120 (Rs.4,900-5,800), it added.
