Dhaka: At least 21 people were killed and 45 injured when two buses collided head-on in western Bangladesh Sunday, police said.
The accident occurred in Koidubi, Faridpur district, some 60 km west of the capital Dhaka.
Sixteen people died at the scene, while others succumbed to their injuries in the hospital, according to an officer at Bhanga police station.
Fifteen of the 24 people, who were admitted to the Faridpur Medical College Hospital, were seriously injured.
