Jaipur: Pakistan’s Imdad Hussain (70, 69) finished on top of the leaderboard at the end of round two of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) pre qualifying II for the 2010 season. Hussain totalled one under 139 after two rounds here Sunday.
Another Pakistani Muhammad Siddique (71, 69) finished second with a total of even par 140 while Bangladesh’s Mohd. Abdul Kadir (72, 69) came in third with one over 141.
A total of 38 players qualified for the final qualifying stage as five players were tied at 34th when the cut was declared at 13 over 153.
These 38 players will join 41 from pre qualifying I and 46 who were exempt from the first qualifying stage in the final stage for the 2010 season that will be held at the Golden Greens Golf and Country Club, Gurgaon, from December 8-11.
Sunil Baburao Ghalphade of Pune made a hole-in-one on the 11th. Ghalphade, however, could not make the cut since he shot scores of 83 and 81 to finish in 60th place at 24 over 164.
Siddharth Sharma (71, 73) of Jaipur finished tied fifth at four over 144 to qualify for the final stage.
