New Delhi : External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna found himself on the back foot in Rajya Sabha Thursday when asked about number of Chinese incursions into Indian territory in the last two years.
“There has been no increase in the number of incursion. I will pass on the information to the honourable member,” he said in reply to a supplementary asked by Ravi Shankar Prasad of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during question hour.
This did not satisfy Prasad who said: “The minister is not prepared, he should have statistics.”
“I will share it with you and the house,” Krisha replied.
“This is an assurance,” Chairman Hamid Ansari ruled and moved to the next question.
