New Delhi : The Trinamool Congress and the Left parties clashed in the Lok Sabha Friday over “the deteriorating law and order situation in West Bengal”.
The trouble started when Trinamool Congress leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay raised the issue. Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Basudeb Acharia questioned how can an issue related to law and order, which is a state subject, be raised in the Lok Sabha.
Both the sides shouted slogans against each other and the speaker finally adjourned the house for a brief while.
