Senate committee recommends ban on Indian channels in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD : Pakistan’s Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Monday recommended that the government immediately ban Indian TV channels in Pakistan.

The committee asked the ministry of information and Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to ban all Indian channels on cable in the country.
