Lucknow : A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two teenagers in an Uttar Pradesh village, police said Monday.
The incident took place Sunday in Nagla Radhe village in Mainpuri district, about 200 km from here.
“While the girl was returning from a market in the Dannahar locality, she was abducted by the two friends, about 14, of the same village and raped at a secluded place,” police inspector Pravesh Kumar told IANS on telephone.
He said after reaching home in the evening, the girl narrated the incident to her parents who then got the case registered at the Dannahar police station.
“The duo are still at large. Efforts are on to nab them,” Kumar said.
