It has also sought the eyewitness account of constable Arun Jadhav – the only policeman to survive a terrorist attack which killed ATS chief Hemant Karkare and two other senior officials Ashok Kamte and Vijay Salaskar.

“It is necessary as Karkare was investigating the cases against militants in mass scale killings of Muslims in India, including Lt. Col. Prasad Shrikant Purohit, reportedly involved in Samjhauta Express incident,” a report in the Dawn daily said Tuesday.

“Linkages between diamond merchant from Surat, Gujarat, and some Hindus in Pakistan need to be clarified as the diamond merchant was alleged to sponsor Malegaon blasts through Col. Purohit,” the report added.

Pakistani authorities have prepared two annexures, one of which contains 30 questions and the other two more questions.

The questions include disclosure of the cell phone numbers used by Kasab in the past, detailed description of killed terrorists and the authentic forensic analysis reports of mobile/satellite phones and/or any other evidence establishing connectivity and communication of the terrorists with militants based abroad.

The authorities have sought the “detailed transcripts of conversation amongst the terrorists during the terror activity from November 26 to 28 as well as with their handlers”.

Complete and date-wise CCTV footage of all the incidents has also been sought.

One of the questions is “Google earth does not carry details of security systems, various entries/exit points, inner details. Such like information requires extensive physical reconnaissance and establishment of control centre within targets. Further details are required.”

Some 170 people, among them 26 foreign nationals, were killed in the Nov 26-29 Mumbai terror carnage.
