Day three of the match has been re-named Jane McGrath Day by the SCG Trust, in honour of Glenn McGrath’s late wife and in support of the McGrath Foundation, which increases awareness of breast cancer and raises money to fund breast cancer nurses around Australia.

Jane died last June at the age of 42 after suffering from breast cancer. After being detected with the disease, she along with her fast bowler husband started the foundation to create awareness about breast cancer.

“It’s a wonderful thing that the trust has done in combination with Cricket Australia and the McGrath Foundation to honour such an amazing woman, and dear friend,” said Matthew Hayden.
