Jammu : A suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist was arrested from the mountainous district of Doda in Jammu and Kashmir Monday, the police said.
A police team, on a specific input, conducted search operations in a village near Bhaderwah town of Doda, about 180 km northeast of Jammu, and arrested Imtiaz Ahmed.
“Imtiaz was working for the LeT,” district police chief Prabhat Singh said.
Singh said the arrested militant was active in the area for over a year and a pistol and some grenades have been recovered from him.
