Ramallah : Israeli forces arrested on Saturday five Palestinians in the town of Qabatiya, adjacent to the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank.
Etewitnesses said that Israeli forces stormed the village with 10 military patrols and began a campaign of house raids and arrested five Palestinians before withdrawing.
The eyewitnesses added that Israeli forces had forced a number of Palestinian families to evacuate their homes for several hours while conducting the ransacking operation.
The Israeli troops fired in the air and used tear gas bombs at the Palestinian houses to force them out.
