Addressing a gathering here, Gilani said his government would not allow the use of its territory for terrorist acts and that war was no solution to the terrorism issue.

Gilani added that Pakistan and India should work together and said that the whole world would be taken into confidence with regard to the results of the investigation into the Mumbai attacks.

“We want friendly ties with neighbour countries on equal grounds,” he said, adding that Pakistan and India should give more attention to the problems faced by the people of two countries.

Gilani also said that his government would complete its five-year term and ruled out mid-term polls.
