New Delhi : After days of warm winter mornings, Delhiites Tuesday woke up to a chilly northwesterly breeze that led to a dip in temperature.

“Northwesterly winds blowing over northern India has brought chill to the capital. The minimum temperature is likely to come down further. The chill is going to stay for two to three days,” an official at the Safdarjung meteorological office said.

The minimum temperature was 9.9 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature 25.4 degree Celsius Tuesday. The minimum temperature stood at 13.2 degree Celsius Monday.

International and domestic flights at the Indira Gandhi International Airport were running on time, thanks to clear visibility on all runways, an airport official said.
