Kashmiri youth missing from Delhi

Srinagar: A 25-year-old youth of Kashmir’s Budgam district working in a private Mobile company in Delhi has been reported missing since last four days by his parents and Budgam police has entered the report.

Official sources said that one Haji Ghulam Ahmad Mir son of Haji Mohammad Ismail resident of Galvanpora Sefdan reported in Police Station Budgam that his nephew Zahoor Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Nabi Mir resident of Galvanpora Sefdan aged about 25 years is working in New Delhi since last seven months in a Vodafone Company and is residing Remes Park Lakshmi Nagar Lane No. 8 House No. R175/5 New Delhi along with one Showkat Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Gani Bhat resident of Duru Sefdan, who is doing his MBA in Delhi.

“Showkat Ahmad had informed Haji Mohammad Ismail (complainant) on telephone that Zahoor Ahmad had left for his Office on 07.07.2009 in early morning and has not returned back since then” sources quoting the contents of the complaint said and added, the complainant had advised Showkat Ahmad on telephone to report the incident to the nearby Police Station.

The complainant has also sent his brother Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Ghulam Rasool Bhat and Abdul Ahad Bhat to Delhi in connection with this incident.

The complainant who is uncle of the missing boy Zahoor Ahmad Mir tried to contact Zahoor Ahmad on his mobile number 09911892473, but it is switched off. Police Station Budgam has entered missing report vide DD No.03 dated 10-07-2009 in this regard.

The Police Station has informed that missing report in respect of above individual has been registered in DD of Police Station vide DD No. 58/B on 09.07.09 at 1425 hours and search is on.
