Mr Badeeuzzaman also shed light on the duties of Muslim professionals and analysed various situations they confront with in life.

In the second session, V Muhammed Sullami, Khatheeb, Salafi Masjid Kadavanthra & Reader at Darul-uloom, Pullepady, Kochi, spoke about the principles one should mould into life so as to become a better Muslim. Prophet Muhammed’s (S.A.W) command during the farewell speech (Hajjath-ul-Wada’) on spreading his message to those who haven’t received it holds good for every one of us, he reminded.

The program held at the Malabar Plaza, Vazhakkala, was attended by professionals as well as young entrepreneurs from various facets of the IT and engineering sectors.

Muhsin Muhammed, in his presidential address, described the ‘amITy Kochi’ as a common platform for IT & Engineering professionals who have joined hands in the light of Islam to work for self improvement of its members, upliftment of the society, promotion of unity among Muslims, professional guidance and financial support of the lesser privileged. Through continued effort and hard work, the ‘amITy’ hopes to mobilize and channelise the available intellectual and human resource potential towards fulfilling it’s multifarious objectives, he added.

Muhsin Muhammed welcomed the gathering and Anaz Kabeer delivered the vote of thanks.
