Delhi: Two Muslim candidates were able to qualify for admissions to the 127th Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The Union Public Service Commission declared the results of Combined Defence Services Examination II, 2009 today.
Wasim Ahmed Sharafat Ali Rana is at rank 22 and Alif Mansoor is ranked 24th among 177 qualified. No Muslim was able to qualify for Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy this year.
The selected candidates have qualified on the basis of the results of the written examination and interview for admission to the 127th Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezhiwala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course.
The number of vacancies for Indian Military Academy is 250, for Naval Academy is 40 and for Air Force Academy, the vacancies are 32.
