Raipur : Police Sunday said they have arrested seven Maoist insurgents in a remote hamlet in Chhattisgarh’s southern Bastar region.
The arrests were made following a tip off in a thick forest in Kanker district where the insurgents were holding a meeting, police officials said.
Police said a pistol and Maoist literature were recovered from the arrested rebels.
