Tehran : Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in Hormozgan Province on Friday that no one was ever capable of humiliating Iranian nation and making it bend before hegemonic powers.
Making the remark during the inauguration ceremony of the first phase of a steel facility project in the province of Hormozgan by the Persian Gulf in south of the country, he said even the big powers have now come to admit Iran’s position as a regional superpower.
He said the Iranian nation will continue to conquer the heights of success and supreme dignity by continuing to treat the path to progress and scientific achievements.
Pointing out that many dwarfish characters in the past denied any opportunities for the Iranian nation to develop ways and means to meet its own needs, he pointed to the construction of such a big plant as the steel facility in the province as a celebration of the fact that the Iranian nation was steadily moving towards conquering the heights of progress.
Saying that the first phase of the project inaugurated on Friday was completed in a span of time about one year shorter than what was the global standard, the president underlined that such a big accomplishment, despite all restrictions and sanctions, sent an important message to the whole world.
