New Delhi : Hoping that the recent developments in Pakistan will be resolved by its leadership amicably and peacefully, India Thursday said recent developments in Pakistan are an internal matter of that country.
“India wants to see strong and stable regimes in its neighbourhood, so that the entire region can grow and develop together, for the common good of its people”, India’s External Affairs Minister, Pranab Mukherjee told reporters when asked to comment on the developments in Pakistan.
He said that this is even more relevant to Pakistan, to enable it to fight against elements in the country that are utilizing the terror infrastructure there and engaging in terrorism within Pakistan and outside.
Pakistan is witnessing growing confrontation among political groups giving rise to speculation of a possible military takeover.
