As per the seat sharing formula for Bihar’s 40 Lok Sabha seats, 25 will go to the RJD, 12 to the LJP and three to the Congress.

“Three seats in Bihar is unacceptable to the Congress and the matter will be taken up by the party with the allies. We will ensure that the Congress gets sufficient seats in Bihar,” said Congress spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan.

The RJD chief Lalu Prasad and LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan Tuesday announced that they will contest the upcoming polls together in Bihar as the members of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA).
