Moscow/Yekaterinburg : Four people died and eight were injured in a stampede at a discotheque in a Russian town, the country’s main investigative body said Monday.
The accident occurred late Saturday when about 200 people had gathered at the discotheque in the Urals town of Pervouralsk. The stampede began when the discotheque organisers offered free entry during the first 30 minutes, investigators said.
Three 16-year-old girls and a 30-year-old man died in the crush, investigators said.
