Khanpora (Baramulla): Amid drizzling, thousands of devotees from across Kashmir thronged revered shrine of valley’s renowned mystical stain of Hazrat Syed Janzab Wali (RA) on his 596th Urs which was observed with fervour on Friday in Khanpora, Baramulla.
The annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Janzab Wali (RA) was celebrated at Janbaz Wali shrine with great devotion. Thousands of people including women and children gathered here to have glimpse of “Tubrookat” after every prayer on Friday.
Paying their obeisance at the Shrine devotees prayed for peace and prosperity of the state. On this occasion the streets were illuminated with traditional lights and the shrine was decorated with tiny electrical bulbs called ‘Zool’. The district administration had made elaborate arrangements of transport, drinking water and power supply for the devotees.
“We are celebrating Urs of Hazrat Syed Janzab Wali (RA) with great devotion and thousands of devotees not only from Baramulla but also from other parts of valley attend this Urs and seek blessing of Allaha in the premises of this pious shrine,” said Abdul Majid Akhoon, president Janbaz Academy Khanpora Baramulla.
“We have done all the arrangements for devotees with good cooperation from police and civil administration,” added Akhoon.
The district administration has made adequate arrangements to facilitate the devotees to pay obeisance at the Shrine. Cleanliness in an around the shrine, water and power supply besides availability of essentials are being ensured
