Gaza City : Palestinian resistance forces have stopped entry of Israeli forces into northern Gaza near Karni border.
IRNA reporter in Gaza City said that the resistance movement has fired Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs) at Israeli tanks forcing them to retreat.
A Kassam rocket hit the Sdot Negev region after a 10-day lull.
Israel said that it landed at an open area in the western Negev.
